VIETNAM: Bosch Security Systems recently participated in a seminar on fire risk prevention conducted by Vietnam’s Building Management Group. Taking place at the Doanh Chu Training Center in Ho Chi Minh, the seminar attracted around 40 representatives from the building management industry and invited the manufacturer’s fire alarm and voice evacuation sales representative, Nguyen Huu Thinh, to give a presentation on the challenges involved with such systems.
The presentation given by Mr Thinh also explored the latest fire detection technologies, which included concealed detectors and smoke detectors with dual-ray technology to distinguish between smoke, steam and dust. The talk also included a look at new evacuation technology, such as systems allowing voice notifications to be sent as well as status monitoring of the whole system.
‘Human life is the most important, hence investing in high quality and reliable fire alarm equipment to ensure safety is top priority,’ commented Terence Ng, general manager of Bosch Security Systems Division in Vietnam and Cambodia.
‘The presentation and discussion was very interactive. The seminar was a great platform for experts, instructors, club members and Doanh Chu’s students to gather and exchange knowledge and experience of building management,’ concluded a spokesperson from Bosch Security Systems. ‘It had proven to be a practical and relevant conference for related parties and individuals to update practical knowledge in building and office development.'
