Bosch India supplies new university auditorium

INDIA: Microline India has recently installed an Electro-Voice system supplied by Bosch India into the GaDiMa Auditorium at Vidya Pratisthan University in Baramati.
Founded in 1972, the university believes that entertainment and co-curricular activities complement the school syllabus to create a holistic form of education. The recent revamp of the GaDiMa auditorium to provide a world-class, 2,000-capacity venue is testament to that belief.
When it came to selecting an audio system, the university’s main criteria were user-friendliness, efficiency and aesthetics. Mr Vijay N Purandare was hired as a consultant to assist the university in its selection, and after much evaluation, the EVA series of line array speakers, including SX300 first ring speakers and ZxA5 monitor speakers, was chosen.
The system is powered by CPS 2.9 amplifiers while the NetMax system controller manages all aspects of the sound systems in the auditorium. Bosch India also supplied a quantity of EV wireless hand held and lapel microphones.
The university reports that it is ‘very pleased with this one-brand solution which makes for ease of operation and maintenance and provides a high sound quality, while the speakers complement the façade of the auditorium to enhance the image of this new facility’.
