Bosch selected for DPR-RI conference room

INDONESIA: Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat (DPR-RI), one of two elected national legislative assemblies in Indonesia, has selected a range of Bosch products to be fitted into its conference room with the aim of increasing audio intelligibility as well as providing better meeting management. The organisation functions as a parliamentary institution with 560 elected members. As a result, the new system had to accommodate frequent interruptions while still providing provide clear audio to its users.
A total of 560 units of the DCN multimedia conference device were installed, as well as nine HD Dome conference cameras, sound reinforcement comprising electro-voice speakers, amplifiers, subwoofers and a wireless microphone setup. The DCN multimedia devices boast a queue feature, which the assembly credits with creating an improved speaking flow in meetings and allowing for smoother proceedings. Additionally, names of the speakers are displayed on screens, meaning members can identify who is speaking. According to the manufacturer, the client is satisfied and pleased with the new conference system.
