Budee hosts Lectrosonics seminar in Hong Kong

HONG KONG: Budee recently hosted a seminar in Hong Kong to introduce the latest Lectrosonics products to the local market. The workshop welcomed 12 guests from Radio Television Hong Kong, Cable TV Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Leisure & Cultural Services Department.

The sessions were supported by Peter Moore from More Technologies and began by introducing the manufacturer’s SSM micro body pack transmitter – which combines digital audio with analogue FM radio – the HH handheld transmitter with thread adaptor and WM watertight beltpack transmitter.

i-Cable Communications (Cable TV HK) technical director, Mr Chung, was present at the workshop and offered his thoughts about the WM transmitter. ‘Designed for wet and dusty environments, the WM watertight beltpack transmitter is very useful for outside video production, ensuring the safety and the reliability of the equipment.’

The seminar also highlighted the manufacturer’s Aspen digital matrix, which provides a maximum of 48 outputs with no input limit by stacking multiple units. Lastly, guests were introduced to Lectrosonics’ DNT series processors, which provide integration of analogue and digital signals over Dante and utilise existing gigabit Ethernet networks.
