BXB recognised for Taiwan Excellence

TAIWAN: BXB Electronics has won a Taiwan Excellence Award for the fourth consecutive year. The conference systems manufacturer secured the awards for all three of the products it nominated – the EDC tabletop conference microphone, ICP-3051 IP-based campus PA and command system keyboard, and ICP-3090 campus PA and command system management software. A total of 1,180 products were nominated for awards this year, with the winners selected by a panel of 88 judges based on four criteria: R&D, design, quality and marketing. The awards are delivered by the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) and Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) to encourage Taiwanese industries to incorporate innovation and value into their products.
According to the manufacturer, the design of the EDC conference series is intended to evoke the feelings of stability and warmness often associated with the home, taking inspiration from inclined roofs generally seen in traditional Chinese houses. The speaker countersinks have also been constructed in the shape of a butterfly, drawing on the design of BXB’s own logo. The company’s other award winner, the Digital IP-based Campus PA and Command System, has been designed to emphasise the goal of ‘learning, safety and energy’. It can interconnect with BXB’s conferencing systems to operate as an emergency command station, or can be controlled from a PC or smartphone application for addressable broadcast, multichannel language teaching, alarm functions, door access and environmental control.
‘BXB has a “best of the best” mentality,’ stated BXB vice president, Jerry Hung. ‘Values such as an insistence on quality and continuous innovation are ingrained in the DNA of our products. The fact that we have won Taiwan Excellence awards for four consecutive years is a testament to the customer satisfaction our products receive.’
