Cheng Zhongjun named Budee vice president and COO

CHINA: Cheng Zhongjun has been appointed to the position of vice president and chief operating officer for Beijing Pacific Budee Technology Development Co Ltd.
As COO, Mr Zhongjun is responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operations at the company, including taking charge of the technical infrastructure and the human resources department.
Mr Zhongjun brings a wealth of management experience and technical knowledge to Budee, having served most recently as general manager at the Wanda Performing Arts and Cultural Management Co. Prior to this, he worked as a technical manager at Hong Kong Advanced Communications Equipment International Ltd and as an acoustics research team leader at the Beijing Institute of Space Medico-Engineering.
In addition, he also designed and oversaw the installation and construction of the audio and video systems for the National Grand Theater, the Zhongnanhai Conference Room, the Beijing National Aquatics Center and the National Convention Center.
Zhongjun is also the author of numerous books and articles, most notably Acoustics of Audio Technology, and The National Theatre: Theatre Sound System Design. He is also a member of the China A/V Engineering Committee and Association, and has received two State Commission of Science and Technology for National Defense Industry awards for his work towards anti-noise technology for astronauts and helicopter pilots.
