Christie continues to support SIFF

CHINA: Christie served as the sole projection provider for the Shanghai International Film Festival (SIFF) for the ninth year in a row. This has seen the manufacturer’s CP2230 DLP digital cinema projector deployed to screen several highly-anticipated movies, such as director Bille August’s newest film, The Chinese Widow, and Zheng Chang’s crime action film Detonator.

The festival, now in its 20th iteration, is accredited by the Fédération Internationale des Associations de Producteurs de Films (FIAPF) and attended by a variety of Chinese and international film stars. As well as the CP2230, Christie also supplied a CP2215 DLP digital cinema projector to screen the 14 films nominated for the Golden Goblet Award for Best Film to the judging panel.

‘Christie is honoured to once again partner with SIFF as the exclusive digital projection partner,’ stated Jason Pei, deputy general manager of Christie China. ‘We are fully committed in putting the best possible image on screen that allows all distinguished guests to enjoy a comprehensive and highly satisfying cinema experience.’
