Christie’s Vive now showing in Mongolia

MONGOLIA: Christie's Vive Audio solution has been installed at the MZC Quanjing Cinema complex in Baotou City. This marks the first cinema installation of the system in the Inner Mongolia autonomous region.
The multiplex comprises eight auditoriums, one of which serves as a Dolby Atmos certified flagship theatre. The Christie installation included LA Series line array elements as well as surround and ceiling surround loudspeakers for Halls 1 to 5, while LS Series screen channel and surround loudspeakers were deployed in Halls 6 to 8. Each auditorium has been equipped with S118 and S218 subwoofers and CDA2 and CDA5 Class-D amplifiers.
‘We want our customers to have an exceptional experience when visiting our cinemas and Christie Vive Audio perfectly suits our requirements,’ explained MZC Quanjing Cinema general manager Junming Kang. ‘I’m pleased to note that we’ve made the right decision as many of our patrons are highly impressed with the sound quality.’

In addition to implememting Chrisitie’s audio solutions, MZC Quanjing Cinema is also making use of the manufacturer’s projection technology, as Solaria Series digital cinema projectors have been installed in five of the auditoriums. This includes the CP2208, CP2215 and CP2230 models.
