JAPAN: Italian lighting specialist Clay Paky has launched its Scenius spotlight into the Japanese market, hosting a workshop at Tokyo’s TFT Building Complex in conjunction with distributor PRG KK. The event was jointly presented by area manager Alfonso Zarate Takano and sales support engineer Giulia Sabeva.
Designed to produce a higher light output than older 1,500W lights, the Scenius features a CRI of 96 and fits a 1,400W, 6000K Osram discharge lamp. Other features include an 8-degree to 50-degree zoom, autofocus and a broad range of onboard effects. The launch was attended by technicians from Japanese rental firms, theatres and TV studios.
‘I am sure that Scenius will be very successful on the Japanese market, which is one of the most demanding in the world,’ commented Mr Takano. ‘Thanks to PRG KK, we gave it a big launch and I was very happy to receive enthusiastic feedback from all those who attended the event.’
