CLN lights up Singapore with DTS

SINGAPORE: In addition to catering to the pro audio industry, Consolidated Audio Networks (CAN) has entered the lighting sector under the banner of a new business division: Consolidated Lighting Networks (CLN). This newly formed business area has already added to its portfolio by reaching a distribution agreement with DTS Lighting, which was seeking a new full-time distribution partner in the region.
‘Consolidated Lighting Networks is the new specialised lighting division of Consolidated Audio Networks,’ explained CAN general manager, Surin Hansra. ‘A new team has been formed for this new business venture for growth, targeting our current and future customers and to offer a one stop solution for lights and sound.’
In addition to distributing the Italian lighting manufacturer’s full catalogue of products, CLN will provide clients with customised solutions depending upon their needs. ‘CLN is formed to not only provide audio solutions under CAN, but to meet our clients’ needs with good quality lighting,’ noted Chad Batchelor, managing director of CAN.
‘During the past few years, DTS has shifted its focus to the production of higher quality lights,’ Mr Batchelor continued. ‘With this new alignment of focus and a brand new distribution model, DTS reached a new peak in sales. Following this achievement we expect great success with this partnership as CLN enters the lighting market.’
CLN will introduce DTS products to Singapore at a launch event on Tuesday 6th September. Ruben Rizzo, technical sales engineer from DTS will be in attendance and speaking at the event, which begins at 1pm inside BigBox shopping complex, Venture Ave, Singapore.
