Concept Audio installs Shure and Nexo at Myth Club

MALAYSIA: Myth Club, based in the Malaysian federal territory of Labuan, recently celebrated its first anniversary by investing heavily in a new sound system to boost the quality of its music output. The club approached Concept Audio to design and install a new solution, which comprised Nexo loudspeakers and a Shure wireless system. Concept Audio serves as the Malaysian distributor for both manufacturers.
The purchase totalled RM1.2 million. Club goers dancing or enjoying a beverage in the main lounge on the ground floor listen to music pumping out from eight Nexo Geo S1230 loudspekars, a pair of NXAMP4x4, one NXAMP4x1 and four PS10R2, as well as 10 LS18 subbass cabinets. Mixing is handled by a Yamaha QL5 compact digital mixer on the audio side, while lighting is courtesy of an Avolites Titan Mobile.
The two VIP lounges, located on the floor above, have been equipped with Nexo PS15R2, LS18, NXAMP4x4 and Shure BLX wireless microphone systems. Another floor up, the club’s 10 private rooms were installed with PS10R2, LS15, NXAMP4x1 and Shure BLX solutions.
