Crestron Asia wins two China Intelligent Building awards

CHINA: Crestron Asia has won two awards at the recent 2013 China Intelligent Building Top 10 Brands. The manufacturer won gongs for China Intelligent Building Top 10 Smart Home Products Brand and China Intelligent Building Top 10 Conference Systems Brand.
The awards are organised by the Engineering Intelligent Design Branch of the China Exploration and Design Association, and the Beijing Intelligent Building and City Information Magazine Agency. It features seven categories covering key aspects of intelligent building design. The winners are elected by a panel of judges, comprising of academics from top-tier universities like Tsinghua University, Nankai University, Fudan University and professionals from the media industry. The panel evaluates all aspects of the entry, including building, positioning, innovation and effectiveness of a brand.
The judging and screenings for both awards were held between September and October 2013 prior to the awards ceremony in Beijing. Industry professionals, experts and end users were invited to vote during the two months of assessment using a transparent judging process.
According to the manufacturer, winning these awards for a second year ‘reaffirmed its strong commitment to improve productivity and convenience through product innovation’.
