CSA-Indonesia takes Harman to Plaza’s Cloud Lounge and living room

INDONESIA: Having succeeded in its mission to install a Harman Pro audio solution into the 46th floor of Jakarta’s Plaza by the MRA Group, CSA-Indonesia were duly elevated three floors above to perform a similar task in the slightly less oxygenated airs.
Cloud lounge and living room is a new rooftop venue offering fine wines, cocktails and panoramic vistas across the central business district of the Indonesian capital city. Blending contrasting indoor and outdoor styles, CSA-Indonesia was tasked with matching the mood in both settings with suitable BGM and sound reinforcement systems. At the heart of this system, a dbx ZonePRO 1260m with 12 inputs and six outputs provides pre-configured processing to the designated zones in the lofty penthouse setting. The bar manager can easily manage the source or volume control in each of the five zones from the ZC-8 wall mounted zone controllers, which are networked to the ZonePRO 1260M via Cat-5 cabling.
The outdoor area called upon an unobtrusive sound system to provide evenly dispersed BGM, despite the often windy conditions associated with a venue 200m above street level, without disturbing the residents in the adjacent Keraton apartments. This was achieved by mounting a number of JBL CBT100LA slim 1.0m height speakers onto rising vertical fixtures, whose 40-degree horizontal coverage ensures targeted coverage where required. Two IP54 rated white SB210 subwoofers blend in to provide low frequency extension.
Indoors, a horizontally suspended system comprising of four JBL AC28 dual 8-inch speakers and two ASB7118 subwoofers together with two floor mounted STX818S subwoofers combine to enhance the SPL’s for the house and guest DJ’s operating from Pioneer decks and turntables. Powering this system are two Crown MA5000I and single MA12000I amplifiers, whilst DJ monitoring has been delegated to a pair of JBL Eon515XT self-powered speakers. Further CBT100LA speakers have been mounted in the seated areas away from the dance floor area as a distributed sound system.
