CSA is in control at Aston Sentul

INDONESIA: Located south of Jakarta in Sentul City-Bogo, the Aston Sentul Lake Resort and Conference Centre is a four-star resort offering 212 guest rooms and suite, eight villas, 11 state-of-the-art meeting rooms and a ballroom able to accommodate up to 900 guests. With Sentul City set embark on a large-scale development plan of up to 3,000ha – encompassing new residential areas, office towers, schools, hospitals, golf courses, sports facilities, shopping malls and conference centres, as well as a new generation of transportation (LRT) that connects the central area of Jakarta and Bogor City – the hotel was also looking for a complete, up-to-date and easily controlled audiovisual upgrade for its ballroom, choosing to enlist CSA Indonesia for the project.

CSA Indonesia specified an all-encompassing automation system built around an AMX Enova DGX 800 UHD/4K digital media switcher system installed in the equipment room and three AMX Enzo presentation systems. The Enova DGX 800 has been outfitted with a pair of DGX-I-DXL twisted pair 4K input boards and a pair of DGX-O-DXL twisted pair output boards, as well as an Enova DGX Audio Insert/Extract Board. In addition, six DXLink multi-format wallplate transmitters, five DXLink HDMI receiver modules, an ICSLan Serial Interface with two Ports and a pair of ICSLan eight-channel relay interfaces provide the necessary signal HDMI-capable signal distribution required to support events, gathering, conferences and parties in the ballroom. Remote control of the systems can be achieved via the AMX TPC-IPAD touch application panel for mobile devices.

In addition to the control and presentation system, CSA installed an audio reinforcement solution in the ballroom comprising JBL Control 47HC, Control 40CS/T, Control 50Pack, RX725, PRX718XLF, PRX715, and portable EON615 loudspeakers. Powered by a pair of Crown CDI2000 amplifiers, the system also includes a DBX db12 audio processor and takes it sources from a selection of AKG microphones systems including CGN521STS tabletop and WMS470 D5 wireless sets. A Soundcraft Si Expression 3 mixing console provides overall system control.

For lighting, CSA Indonesia also installed Martin Professional fixtures, including Rush MH1 Profile Plus moving heads and Aura Washes. Lighting control is from a Martin M-Play controller.
