SINGAPORE: d&b audiotechnik has announced the opening of a wholly owned subsidiary in Singapore. Named d&b audiotechnik Asia Pacific Pte Ltd, the office will reportedly provide facilities and resources for the company to strengthen its position in the APAC mobile market and make further inroads into the installation sector.
‘With a team located in Singapore, enhanced by local talent, we will be able to provide permanent “on-the-ground” support, similar to that currently available in Europe, Japan and the US,’ explained territory manager Mike Case, who will lead the APAC team. ‘The response to the move has been extremely positive and, together with our customers, we’re looking forward to going from strength to strength in the region.’
The APAC team will focus on supporting distributors and the growing customer base in the territory, in addition to rolling out the d&b training programme across the region. By the end of 2016 the company expects the office to be operating as a full service hub for the Asia Pacific, resulting in faster service all around, and a spare parts service that was previously unavailable to APAC customers.
