SINGAPORE: Showtec Group recently provided a d&b audiotechnik J Series system for the stage at the Singapore Night Festival 2012.
Described as a ‘nocturnal extravaganza’ boasting a mix of aerial performances, music, dance and installation art, the main event took place on the public green space at the Singapore Management University, with additional events held at the National Museum of Singapore, the Singapore Art Museum and the Peranakan Museum.
The J Series system provided support for performances by Shelves, The Great Spy Experiment, Kevin Lester featuring Kiat and DJ Koflow & Dharni featuring Bruk Braders. The chosen system had to be able to manage and deliver the varying audio requirements specific to each act, and had to be able to provide an extended frequency response.
Hexogon Solution was appointed the official technology partner for the festival, and provided equipment and technical support for a 3D mapping projection segment at the National Museum of Singapore. Hexogon Solution also supported the event with a ground-stacked d&b J-Series system.
