dB Technologies appoints South Korean distributor

SOUTH KOREA: Dongyang Tave has been named as the exclusive South Korean distributor for dB Technologies, having already been described by the Italian loudspeaker manufacturer as ‘one of the strongest distribution companies’ within the South Korean A/V market.
Launched in 2001 and initially specialising in public address, audiovisual systems, sound reinforcement and CCTV, Dongyang Tave has garnered an enviable reputation for itself within its domestic market for consultation projects and systems integration.
According to president Se-Keun Lee, the dB Technologies brand fills a key requirement in the supplier’s roster of brands. ‘It was clear early on in our discussions that the dB Technologies range was exactly what we had been looking for. We have been monitoring the growth of dB Technologies for some time and feel honoured to have the opportunity to represent it.’
The loudspeaker manufacturer is equally pleased with the deal, which was initially struck at the Pro Light + Sound exhibition. ‘Dongyang Tave is one of the new generation of star companies in South Korea which has the knowledge, determination and professionalism to move business forward in today’s market,’ enthused Martin Capp, dB Technologies area sales manager for Asia Pacific.
