dBTechnologies powers Manila's Palace Pool Club

PHILIPPINES: Valkyrie Club became one of the leading nightclubs in Manila when it opened its doors in November last year. Equipped with a line array system from Italian manufacturer dBTechnologies, the management has been so impressed with the system's performance that it once again enlisted the services of the manufacturer's official distributor in the region, Vertek Pro, to outfit the Palace Pool Club.

The pool club is a large complex that replicates the design of famous pool clubs, such as Marquee in Las Vegas and Ushuaïa in Ibiza, with Valkyrie Club being the first venue in the complex to open to the public. Following the success at Valkyrie Club, the manufacturer's DVA line array was the favoured system.

Collaborating with dBTechnologies product specialists Andrea Salvioli and Andrea Brasolin, the Vertek Pro technical team installed the line array in the outdoor area around the pool. The main stage system comprises eight per side flown DVA T8 modules with two DVA S2585N subwoofers. A further four DVA T4 speakers were installed as front fill and four DVA S30 N subwoofers line the front of the stage. In addition, a delay system comprising two DVA T8 stacked on a DVA S30 N sub per side has been placed in the lounge bar at the opposite side of the pool.
