DiGiCo further penetrates India’s rental market

INDIA: New Delhi-based rental company Beats Light & Sound has expanded its inventory with the addition of a DiGiCo SD10 digital mixing console and a pair of D2-Racks. The purchase was facilitated by the British manufacturer’s Indian distributor, Hi-Tech Audio Systems Pvt Ltd.

Beats Light & Sound was founded more than 20 years ago and is led by Sanjay Chaudhary. It supplies a wide variety of events, such as concerts and theatrical productions, corporate and sporting events.

‘Being in a demand driven industry, we have to upgrade our inventory with the latest products,’ explained Mr Chaudhary. ‘We quickly recognised that SD10 would be a perfect fit. The number of input and output channels is really impressive and I believe at the moment the DiGiCo SD10 is one of the most rider-compatible consoles in the industry.’

‘The SD10 with D2-Rack provides a dynamic combination,’ noted Rajan Gupta, managing director of Hi-Tech Audio Systems. ‘FOH and MOH applications can be controlled independently without using an analogue split snake system.’
