Equipson acquires structures and lifters manufacturer Fantek

WORLD: Developing audio innovations under the Work Pro brand, Spanish manufacturer Equipson announced an agreement to acquire Fantek at this year’s Pro Light and Sound show in Frankfurt. Founded in 1986 and similarly based in the Valencia area, Fantek is a producer of trussing structures and tower lifts. The acquisition incorporates Fantek’s expertise into the newly realigned corporate strategy of Equipson, which also announced its newly created divisions in audio, lighting and lifting solutions.
Having acquired the manufacturing plant and facilities, Equipson aims to increase production and market share, encouraging continued investment in the specialisation and differentiation of the Fantek brand.
‘Our purpose is to strengthen the specialisation of our different brands, expand possibilities and offer a wider range of lifting and structure solutions to the professionals of the audio and lighting sector,’ commented Equipson CSO Juan José Vila. ‘Everyone in Equipson shares the same deep commitment as Fantek.’
