ESP/SurgeX acquires SurgeX International

WORLD: After six years apart, the SurgeX and SurgeX International brands are being reunited. ESP/SurgeX has announced the acquisition of SurgeX International, which had been operating as its own entity since ESP acquired SurgeX North America in 2008. The move unifies all SurgeX operations under a single management team located in Knightdale, North Carolina, and will enable the company to streamline international expansion to better serve its customers.

Reliance on IT infrastructure and other electrical systems is higher than ever, so safeguards are needed against the various anomalies that can affect equipment and systems,’ said Stephen Galloway, CEO and president ESP/SurgeX. ‘We have existing residential and commercial product lines, development capabilities, and manufacturing capacity to serve the evolving needs of our growing international market. Furthermore, the move will increase sales opportunities for our US based dealers, consultants and design integrators who handle installations all over the world.’
As part of the acquisition, worldwide operations and management of SurgeX have been united under one roof, and as a result, will increase product development providing more consistent service for customers, distributors and dealers.
