EV’s ND Series arrives in Singapore

SINGAPORE: Having launched its first microphones in many years in the form of the ND Series earlier in 2016, EV has formally unveiled them to its primary customers in Singapore. Some 40 primary customers and guests were invited to a demonstration at City Music’s Peace Centre store on 12th August for a three-hour presentation. Following an opening welcome by Bosch Security Systems Asia Pacific’s Johannes Huth, Gordon Lee provided an overview of the latest ZLX, ELX, EKX and ETX speaker systems with videos and audio playback.

Product specialist Edward Chia then took the stage to promote the newly stocked ND microphones. Following a demystification of humbucking coil guards, memralex grilles and shock mounting capsules, Mr Chia went onto highlight the features of the four vocal and four instrument models in the range. He was then assisted by the presence of guitarist and singer Shirlyn Tan from local band UnXpected in showcasing the different models before a Q and A session and wind down with food and drink.

‘It’s been a good turn out and we’re hoping to build on this momentum,’ confirmed Mr Chia. ‘It’s a highly competitive market, but EV’s pedigree began almost 90 years ago in microphones. We’re going to be making sure that the local dealers, artists and performers take a closer look at these capsules over the coming weeks and months.’
