Eve Audio goes two for two at LoudBell Studio

KOREA: Located in Seoul, LoudBell Studio has recently invested in monitors from German manufacturer, Eve Audio. Owned and run by recording, mixing and mastering engineer Moon-soo Park, aka Easternsound, he explains that the new monitors form his all-in-one toolset, and that ‘I always check on the SC203s. If it sounds good, I’m done’.
Having established his own studio, Mr Park has since engineered close to 2,000 songs, in addition to lecturing at the Record Factory – one of the country’s largest recording studios and engineering academies. LoudBell Studio, Mr Park and Eve Audio’s Korean distributor, Sound n Music, also have a long-standing relationship. They have cooperated closely on a number of professional music projects, in addition to ongoing seminars and lectures.
The Eve Audio setup used by Mr Park at LoudBell Studio comprises a 2.2 configuration of SC307s and TS108s subwoofers as the main monitoring system. He also has a pair of S203s which he uses for desktop monitoring.
Offering his thoughts about his new Eve cabinets, Mr Park said: ‘They deliver remarkable high resolution audio that never fatigues my ears. I also love the very transparent high frequencies and tight low end, which is quite unique to Eve. When I was setting up the studio, I tried a subwoofer to improve the room acoustics. Adding one more sub was the perfect solution for me because it effectively removed resonances in certain frequency ranges. Ever since, I always recommend my clients and friends to try a 2.2 Eve Audio system.’
