FBT installed around Hubei

CHINA: Shanghai People Sound has been kept busy recently conducting three major FBT installations in Hubei Province. Milano KTV in XianNing has been equipped with loudspeakers from the Italian manufacturer’s Verve range, while over in ShiYan, TaiPei K Party KTV has been installed with systems from the J Series. Also in ShiYan, K Club has been fitted with products from the Archon Series.
Milano KTV house was originally built in 2014 with investment from the Meder Hotel to serve as a resort for dinning, karaoke and a range of entertainment activities. The resort includes 34 interior rooms, all decorated in a European style. It is therefore rather fitting that the sound system deployed would be that of a European manufacturer. A total of 76 Verve-112 loudspeakers have been installed and provide complete audience coverage for audio during performances with the system’s extended low frequency.
Over in ShiYan, at TaiPei K Party KTV, Shanghai People Sound provided J15A, J12A, DJ15A, J8A and J5A loudspeakers. This particular club is a joint venture between the KTV brand and TaiPei K Party. Inside the venue, the walls in each room have been covered in soft material to create what is described as ‘immersive sound effects’. The J Series speakers deliver sound reinforcement to the rooms, are self-powered with Class-D amplification built-in, and include DSP functionality. According to the distributor, these compact speakers were chosen for their practicality as well as their design and have reportedly impressed the DJs that have since performed at the club.
Meanwhile, the ShiYan K Club is comprised of 50 rooms, throughout which a total of 214 FBT loudspeakers have been integrated. Included within the installation are units of the Archon 110, Archon 105 and Archon 108W have all been deployed along with SubLine 12SA cabinets. Shanghai People Sound has oriented the speakers around the facility to ensure a high sound pressure levels, wide frequency range and sound reinforcement of a high quality.
