Football fans get in on the action via the STX-200

SINGAPORE: While serving as the exclusive Singaporean broadcaster of the UEFA Euro 2016 tournament, Eleven Sports Network is making use of a Riedel Communications STX-200 professional Skype interface. The interface is described by the manufacturer as ‘broadcast-grade’ and has allowed the broadcaster to create an interactive experience for its viewers during the football matches.

The STX-200 has been utilised to include viewer-generated content from fans within Eleven Sport Network’s broadcasts via Skype. Subsequently, an added level of viewer engagement has said to gave been achieved whilst the network gains real-time fan-made content to add to its coverage.
