JAPAN: Fuyoh Video Industry Co has become the latest organisation to join the Alliance for IP Media Solutions (AIMS). The Japanese manufacturer produces video equipment for a variety of applications across a range of industries, including the broadcast, medical and education sectors. In particular, it specialises in digital HD/SD equipment for television stations and postproduction facilities.
‘Establishing IP standards has to be a global effort, which is why we're so pleased to welcome Fuyoh Video into the AIMS family,’ said Michael Cronk, AIMS board chair. ‘It's gratifying to see another Japanese company join our ranks on the heels of launching the AIMS Japan group.’
AIMS is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to providing awareness of industry standards for the transmission of video, audio, and ancillary information over an IP infrastructure, as well as promoting the products based on those standards. Members include broadcast and media companies and technology suppliers.
