Ghielmetti appoints new VP sales and marketing

WORLD: Swiss comms manufacturer Ghielmetti has announced that Robert Habersaat has joined the company as vice president of sales and marketing. Simultaneously taking up a position on the board of directors, Mr Habersaat will be responsible for the manufacturer’s global distribution channels.
‘I am happy to see Robert in my team,’ enthused Hans Peter Schwaninger, CEO of Ghielmetti AG. ‘As an insider in multimedia technology he can support as best as possible our international customers and open new markets for Ghielmetti. With his expertise we can offer our customers individual know-how and support.’
Mr Habersaat brings more than 20 years of experience working in the professional audio industry to the new position, including serving as vice president of sales and general manager for Studer. Speaking on his new appointment he remarked: ‘Ghielmetti has always stood for excellence and the highest quality. I am proud to be part of a highly skilled and motivated team and greatly looking forward to my new role.’
