GL Events takes Nexo PS10-R2 order

CHINA: GL Events Hong Kong has acquired a new complement of PS10-R2 compact full-range cabinets from Nexo. The PS10-R2 high-output compact cabinet is described by the supplier as ‘ideal for near-field portable PA applications in all kinds of environments’, combining ‘a classic loudspeaker model’ with ‘innovative transducer, waveguide and enclosure designs’.
GL Events Hong Kong specialises in trade fairs, conventions and events and is a long-term Nexo customer, reportedly using the brand on 90 per cent of its jobs.
’95 per cent of our loudspeaker inventory is Nexo,’ explained senior sales manager Axel Moyse. ‘GL carries the GEO S12 line array, which we use with RS15s. We also have a larger quantity of PS15 and have now added the new PS10 models. We use the new NXAMP 4x4 amplifiers for all power and system management applications. There is great flexibility in the systems – we can stack, rig, fly, or hang from poles with the whole range of cabinets.’
The acquisition follows the opening of the GL Events’ Macau subsidiary office two years ago.
