Global Television takes receipt of Bel Digital Audio Confidence Monitors for fleet expansion

AUSTRALIA: Professional Audio Technology Pty Ltd (PAT) has supplied 18 BM-A1-16SHD audio confidence monitors to Global Television, a large TV production company with studios in Sydney and Melbourne. The supply of the monitors is in line with an ongoing effort to expand its equipment arsenal for upcoming projects in 2014.

‘Our very busy schedule for 2014 required us to increase the number of confidence monitors in our fleet,’ commented Milan Milenkovis, technical service manger for Global Television. ‘Once again PAT offered us outstanding technology with very short delivery times and was able to meet our budget with the BM-A1-16SHD monitors from Bel Digital.’

The product is described by the manufacturer as a high quality audio monitor, capable of accepting audio via two SDI, four AES pairs (BNC) and analogue inputs. It automatically detects SD, HD or 3G video and de-Multiplex all 16 audio channels, ideal for a television production company. The units will be dispatched to various international events throughout the year, while also being used locally in Australia.
