Global TV selects PR Lighting for new studios

INDONESIA: After moving out of its old rented studios and into a completely new broadcast facility in Jakarta, the four independent studios the new Global TV facility comprises have all been equipped with PR Lighting fixtures. Local distribution company Acoustic & Lighting supplied the fixtures, having successfully won its tender on the basis of their performance capabilities and extended warranty.
The fixtures were required to provide essential functionality for the broadcaster's daily round of comedy, light entertainment and popular music programming. In total, the broadcaster acquired 70 PR Lighting XR 200 Beams, 70 XLED 1037, 90 XPAR 360 and 20 XR330 Spots.
According to Mr Edwin of Acoustic & Lighting, the fixtures were all tested for colour temperature and flicker at the demonstration stage. Additionally, the lights were designed to be easily interchangeable between different studios during down time.
Commenting on the reasons for selecting the RP Lighting products, Mr Edwin explained: ‘The PR Lighting fixtures were specified from the very beginning because they offer excellent value for money. The studio particularly liked the XR330 Spot.’
