grandMA2 lights up smartphone launch

INDIA: Chinese electronics manufacturer Xiaomi recently held a launch event for its latest smartphone, the Mi Max, Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi. Dinesh Verma served as the lighting designer at the event, utilising MA Lighting’s grandMA2 light control console. MA Lighting’s Indian distributor, Modern Stage Service, supplied the lighting solutions and trussing.
‘My design idea was to reflect the brand and its image and create a buzz for the new smartphone by combining an LED wall, lighting and sound,’ explained Mr Verma.
Sahil Wadhwa, owner of Modern Stage Service, also commented: ‘MA products are highly sought after and perform as we expect them to.’
