Hard Rock Café Chiang Mai opens for dLive performances

THAILAND: Hard Rock Café Chiang Mai is one of the newest additions to Hard Rock’s global portfolio of restaurants. During the restaurant’s setup, One Systems Global was contracted to design and install an audio system, and specified Allen & Heath’s Qu-16 digital rackmount mixer to manage a d&b audiotechnik PA solution.
The mixer shares an A/V rack in the venue’s control room with an amplifier and audio server. It is used to control playback audio sources, as well as to mix for any artists that perform live at the venue.
‘The Qu-16 is the ideal mixer for this type of venue,’ explained One Systems Global’s sales technician, Mr Suttipun. ‘It has enough capacity to manage a live music performance and is compact enough to store away, with flexible control options so that the user can connect to a wireless router and use the iPad app to mix from anywhere in the venue.’
