Harman’s TechExchange returns to India

INDIA: Harman and Apex Solutions recently staged the first of their TechExchange events in Delhi for the year. The event was free to attend on an invite-only basis and showcased the full range of audio and lighting systems from various Harman brands.

The purpose of the event was to educate and train a new class of engineers that have started using Harman-branded products in the region. Those invited to attend at Tivoli Gardens in Chattarpur were presented with one-to-one product demonstrations from members of the Harman team and other A/V professionals. Products explored included the dbx Venu360 processor, Soundcraft Vi3000 mixing console and JBL’s VTX V25, which was highlighted in a live rigging session every two hours.

Martin Professional was also involved in TechExchange for the first time, with live demos of its Rush Series Beams, LED 3000 strobes, and Mac Aura washes taking place. The M-Touch and M2Go lighting consoles were also on show.

‘We received a positive response for the new range of products displayed,’ reported Apex Solutions owner Sunil Kumar. ‘The live demos for the Soundcraft Vi3000, dbx Venu360 and JBL VTX V25 were hugely appreciated by those who attended the session.’

Prashant Govindan, senior director at Harman Professional India, also commented: ‘TechExchange is an expression of our commitment to showcase the best of technology in the audio and lighting space for the events and sound rental businesses,’ he said. ‘We are overwhelmed with the response to the show received by Delhi’s A/V community. We are committed to the growing retail and entertainment markets and this region has also seen a resurgence in the touring audio sector.’
