Hegde grows with Mackie

INDIA: Hubli-based rental company Hegde Audio Visual has invested in multiple Mackie SRM450 loudspeakers, growing its roster to facilitate the recent swell in the number of gigs it has been booked to supply. The purchase was made via local Mackie distributor Vishwanath Electronics.
The decision to opt for a Mackie system reportedly came from the rental company’s previous experience. ‘We’ve used Mackie products several times in the past,’ said Hegde Audio Visual’s Mr S Hegde. ‘When we were faced with the decision to expand our inventory, we had absolutely no doubt that the Mackie SRM450 would be the top choice. We’ve always noticed a consistency in performance and quality, irrespective of the venue or the kind of event.
‘The loudspeakers are powerful, extremely versatile and super easy to move around logistically,’ Me Hegde continued, reflecting on the acquisition. ‘After the great response we’ve had with the SRM450 we’re now weighing in on the option of purchasing more products from Mackie.’
