Hewshott appoints Ambran Abu Bakar as consultant in Singapore

SINGAPORE: Hewshott International has appointed Ambran Abu Bakar as a consultant at its Singapore office. Described as a ‘business and technology leader in the convergence of emerging technologies’, Mr Abu Bakar brings to the role 18 years’ experience in the technology and IT industry.
‘Ambran brings elements of technical expertise and business development to this role,’ stated Stewart Carne, Hewshott associate director for Asia Pacific. ‘He will be building on the solid client base we already have in Singapore and nurturing new contacts and projects. We are looking forward to experiencing continued growth in the region.’
Mr Abu Bakar is stated to be a ‘subject matter expert’ in design for emerging technologies, converged A/V design, videoconferencing, digital signage and command and control centres. He has previously undertaken project management roles for large projects, and has been involved in citywide master planning, developing service concepts, business cases and financial models.
‘I am passionate about building and developing new technology leaders and sharing my knowledge and expertise,’ commented Mr Abu Bakar.
