Hi-Tech Audio named Indian Klotz distributor

INDIA: Hi-Tech Audio Systems Pvt ltd has been appointed as the new exclusive Indian distributor for cable manufacturer Klotz ais in a deal announced at Palm India 2010.

The appointment was described by Kamal Mahtani, business manager for Klotz Cables Asia Pacific, as ‘providing India with the best for their professional projects’.

The two companies have already been working closely together in the region over the last 10 years, though the announcement marks the first time that the two have entered into an exclusive agreement. According to the Singapore-based Klotz Asia Pacific Rep Office, the deal recognises that while Klotz is by no means new to the Indian market, ‘it was necessary to offer a more efficient direct support and representation’. New Dehli-based Hi-Tech Audio Systems is among the highest profile suppliers within India, holding the exclusive distributorship for the Harman Professional group of brands among others.

‘We have been working together for the last 10 years and we decided that there is no better time than now to start working exclusively with Hi-Tech Audio Systems,’ enthused Mr Mahtani. ‘Being one of the strongest and largest of Pro Audio companies in India, we have absolute confidence in them.’

Rajan Gupta, director of Hi-Tech Audio, has declared himself ‘thrilled’ with the deal, adding: ‘Klotz ais compliments our range very well. Its products are found in most of the flagship of installations worldwide and we are looking forward to a long term business relationship’.
