HK Audio caters for all at Kuala Lumpur’s Nexus

MALAYSIA: A prestigious new Nexus venue located in Kuala Lumpur’s iconic Bangsar South development has been outfitted with HK Audio Elements and Linear 5 series equipment. The System Integrator division of the manufacturer’s Malaysian distributor Digistar installed the systems to provide ‘unsurpassed mid/high-frequency clarity’ and a powerful bass response.
The Nexus building hosts a variety of functions under its roof, ranging from corporate functions to weddings, private dinners and seminars. For the venue’s Grand Ballroom and Function Rooms, Digistar selected a portable Elements Big Base System to provide sound reinforcement. The building also accommodates a 300-capacity Auditorium and this has been outfitted with a combination of Elements and Linear 5 models. A total of 30 Elements E345 mid/high cabinets and four Linear 5 LSUB2000A subwoofers were used to provide audio accompaniment for movies and live entertainment.
In addition to the these flagship systems, the venue chose to use the manufacturer’s Lucas Smart and Pulsar Systems for it meeting rooms and other events, and the building owners are reported to be extremely happy with their choice. ‘Our state-of-the-art A/V system and the stylish three-tier seating theatre bring out the very best from live events. Suitable for all occasions, like operas, theatre performances, concerts, conferences, product launches, and even movie screenings, this is the preferred venue for it all to take place.’
