I Am a Singer using K-array

CHINA: During the recent fourth series of I Am a Singer, sound reinforcement was provided to the live studio audience by K-array’s Concert Series. The singing contest is broadcast on Hunan TV.
Flown on both sides of the stage, as well as at the back of the auditorium, were clusters of six KH3 self-powered line array speakers, providing surround sound to the studio audience. Serving as centre-fill were six KH2 units deployed above the stage.
The KH3 and KH2 cabinets were reportedly selected by the show’s sound designers due to their compact and slim design, combined with their built-in amplification and wide horizontal nominal directivity. ‘It fits nicely within the audience area and provides enough sound to cover the whole room without obstructing the audience’s line of sight,’ commented the sound designers when discussing the system.
