Idea to launch at Pro Light + Sound

WORLD: A brand new European manufacturer is due to be launched at this year’s Pro Light + Sound in Frankfurt. Idea, a pro audio loudspeaker system manufacturer based in Cedeira, Spain, and its 2014 product portfolio will be launched together with the corporate website – www.ideaproaudio.com - and the announcement of its first distributors.
According to the new manufacturer, Idea products are ‘essentially complete, modular loudspeaker, DSP and amplification systems for professional sound reinforcement’, and are designed to provide ‘mobile, portable and touring solutions as well as high-performance, fixed or distributed audio installations’.
The Spanish manufacturer states that the goal with Idea has been to ‘create hard working professional audio tools, with serious power-density, without adding unnecessary sophistication or complexity to the configuration, setup and deployment of the systems’. Convenience, value and acoustical performance are the aspects that the company is keen to promote, and this is why its systems are described as being ‘scalable and compatible to allow the user to find the right configuration to meet the SPL, coverage, operational costs and logistic requirements for each application’.
The products are the result of an intensive effort from a group of European engineers, product experts and advanced users, working in a network with its hub at the company’s manufacturing facilities in Cedeira.
