Infinite Studios installs first Ross Virtual Set in Asia

SINGAPORE: Ross Video’s Virtual Set Solution has been has been installed into film, TV and digital media content provider Infinite Studios. Based in Singapore, the project was managed directly by the manufacturer and marks the first Ross Video Virtual Studio to be deployed in Asia.

‘We’re very excited to implement Ross Video’s virtual set solution,’ said Lawrence Ang, head of operations at Infinite Studios. ‘We felt as though Ross was able to meet our needs from end to end, and we can’t wait to see how our various clients are going to use these solutions to enhance their productions.’

The manufacturer’s turnkey solution includes Ross UX for virtual solutions control, XPression for graphics rendering, a Furio robotic camera system, Carbonite for switching and keying and an NK router along with openGear. Ross’ Virtual Design package is also supplying virtual set and augmented reality elements.

Infinite plans to rent out the 4K-capable virtual set to clients, who use their studio for a variety of productions. As part of an ongoing relationship, the studio will also serve as a Ross Video Demonstration Studio for customers throughout the region.
