J Davis rocks Bangalore

INDIA: J Davis Prosound and Lighting provided its services for the fourth consecutive year at the Bangalore Open Air after being appointed by technical director Nikhil Pai. The event took place at the Royal Orchid Resort and was promoted by Infinite Dreams.
Designed and aligned by Bharath Patil, J Davis deployed 24 L-Acoustics K2 line array elements, supplemented by 12 SB 28 subwoofers in a cardioid delayed arc pattern. Additional equipment included DV-Dosc elements used for front fills and side fills, as well as Martin Audio LE 1500 series stage monitors and a lighting rig of 48 Par 64s, 16 Elation Platinum Beam 5R, 16 Silver Star Cyan 8000 XE, 12 Atomic Strobes 300, three Look haze machines and six 4 Molefays. Control was also via an Avolites Pearl console with LSC DMX splitters.
‘I needed a system that had enough headroom with even coverage while still being loud and clear to cover the full outdoor venue,’ explained Mr Pai. ‘I have always used J Davis Prosound for this festival as they have an extremely efficient crew and gear.’
