Jünger Audio China opens in Beijing

CHINA: German broadcasting specialist Jünger Audio has announced the opening of a dedicated Chinese office based in Beijing. Named Jünger Audio China, the subsidiary is to be led by former Loud Tech Inc China marketing director Jian Gao, described by Jünger managing director Peter Poers as ‘ideally placed to fulfil this role’.
Jünger Audio is pointing to the growth of China’s economy, which is now ranked second in the world, and the strength of its domestic broadcast market as the principle reasons for establishing the office. ‘The combination of improved international relations, an expanding economy and increased foreign investment make China a very attractive business proposition for European companies,’ explained Mr Poers.
The managing director added that the addition of Miss Gao was, however, crucial to the company’s plan. ‘We felt from the beginning that it was imperative that our office should be headed by a Chinese national who understood both the business climate and our own industry. We are delighted that Jian Gao is joining Jünger Audio as our chief representative in China.’
In her former career at Loud Tech Inc China, Miss Gao was responsible for establishing and implementing marketing strategy and product management for China, while her past experience within the audio and broadcast industries encompasses a period as a sound engineer for China National Radio, a stint with Sony as a broadcast and pro audio product manager, and a position with TC Electronics as national marketing and sales manager.
Commenting on the new office and her role, Miss Gao expressed delight at her appointment. ‘I am very happy to be working with Jünger Audio and to be part of such a talented team. My role will be to organise the distribution of Jünger Audio products in China and help establish the brand in the broadcast industry nationwide. I am looking forward to using my knowledge and experience to develop both business opportunities and customer relationships.’
