INDIA: The Karnataka Biotechnology and Information Technology Services Department (KBITS) located in Bangalore, India, has completed its newly installed conference system with the addition of Electro-Voice boundary layer microphones. The microphones were proposed and supplied by local installer Hansa Pictures Ltd.
KBITS is an organisation helping to facilitate and promote the information technology and biotech sectors by organising as well as participating in road shows, trade shows, conferences, meetings and seminars at both national and international levels.
The department often organises international and national conferences as part of its role in promoting the growth of IT and biotechnology companies. In order to facilitate such meetings, KBITS required unobtrusive microphones that would complete its conference system.
Installer, Hansa Pictures opted to supply a host of Electro-Voice Polar Choice (PC) multi-pattern boundary layer microphones. Nine microphones were installed into each meeting room, to be used for local sound reinforcement and video conferencing applications. A key goal of the project was to create a professional-looking meeting room. The microphones fitted this goal, and were installed with all cables well concealed.
Subsequently, the management has been very impressed with the quality and aesthetics of the microphone and pleased that they have a solution that meets their needs while working within their budget.
