Kingdom Disco chooses Ohm sound solution

VIETNAM: Hanoi-based Saomai Audio has installed an extensive Ohm sound system into the recently opened Kingdom Disco in Backan City.

Saomai Audio’s sound engineers spent a week installing the Ohm system into the venue, which is described as ‘the largest disco and bar in the city’, and then provided additional training for the house engineers.

Included in the install were 10 mid/high cabinets from Ohm’s BR Range and a number of subwoofers from the manufacturer, including four TRS-218 dual 18-inch units. For amplification, 10 Ohm CFU-A3 models were supplied, and system control is handled by two Ohm Cred 2-4 DSP units.

‘When we chose Ohm we were a little concerned because we have not seen many bars or discos in this part of Vietnam use these products,’ admitted club owner Mr Chung. ‘But I listened to the sound and I know I was right to choose Ohm. The sound is very clear and strong and I am sure we will be successful with Ohm in the Kingdom Disco. We very much like the personnel, service and support provided by Saomai Audio and we thank them all.’

‘We have already had a great deal of success with Ohm in Vietnam,’ commented Xuan Hien Tran, managing director of Saomai Audio. ‘The Kingdom Disco further expands our evening entertainment business and also takes us into new geographic areas. The newly announced “Total Clarity” range of products from Ohm is outstanding and will enable us to develop our markets even quicker.’

Kingdom Disco’s opening night featured a performance by Vietnamese singer, Kasim Hoang Vu, who said he was ‘very happy with the sound’.
