Linear Acoustic and DTV Audio to host broadcast webinar

WORLD: Linear Acoustic founder and Telos Alliance CTO, Tim Carroll, will present a free webinar on Wednesday 26 March 2014 at 12:00 pm EST in conjunction with DTV Audio Group and SVG.

During the 45-minute presentation entitled A Practical History and Review of Audio Codecs for Broadcast, Mr Carroll will review the history and progress of audio codec technology as well as explore why codecs are still required and what they will be asked to do in the future.

Mr Carroll will also discuss whether codecs can continue to help balance the desire for ‘more with the goal of better’ and how this may impact the broadcaster and the consumer.

The webinar will conclude with a Q&A session.
