LSS enters China with Yijie Electric Technology Co Ltd

CHINA: Italian loudspeaker manufacturer LSS is to enter the Chinese market following a deal between the brand’s Asian distributor, LSS Asia (also known as Sound People Company) and Guangzhou-based Yijie Electric Technology Co Ltd (YJ Audio). The arrangement – officially signed at the recent Pro Light & Sound exhibition in Frankfurt, Germany – sees YJ Audio become sole dealer for LSS throughout mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau.
Boasting an extensive dealer network across the Chinese mainland, YJ Audio reportedly contacted LSS regarding distribution following a long period of evaluation. Negotiations for the distributorship lasted a year prior to the signing of the agreement. The company has already debuted LSS systems within the Chinese market, appearing at the recent GET show in Guangzhou, for which Yena Ko of LSS Asia was in attendance.
‘China is a huge market with huge potential for LSS,’ commented Ms Ko. ‘We also believe that this new distributorship is the first step in expanding the awareness of our Italian brand through all of Asia. We are very hopeful for the future – this is just the beginning of a big push for LSS.’
The loudspeaker manufacturer also hosted a special demonstration and dinner party during the Pro Light & Sound exhibition, inviting a host of attendees to Frankfurt’s Alte Textilfabrik venue to hear the QRex and SubQRex systems.
