Lynx Pro Audio to go solo
Published: ASIA
WORLD: Former VMB sound engineers and workers have set up Spanish professional audio manufacturer Lynx Pro Audio, a new company with its own dedicated sales, marketing and R&D team focusing soley on acoustical and electronic professional sound development.
Jesus Fuentes, product manager for Lynx Pro Audio, explained: ‘We have designed some of the most advanced Pro Audio products on the market in recent years with the LX Line Array and ADP series, not to metion the ARK processors. Now we can focus entirely on this market and grow the brands to the level they deserve to be. Despite the recession our audio production has grown and we are continually introducing new products to the market.’
Export manager Ben Sinclair added: ‘There has been a false assumption that we couldn’t dedicate enough resources to manufacturing different and varied product portfolios and many people have questioned how the world's leading towerlift manufacturer could also claim to produce state of the art sound products. From a sales and marketing perspective it makes commercial sense to run independently from now on.’
Lynx Pro Audio reportedly plans to develop a number of products and is planning to introduce a brand new line array at Pro Light + Sound in April.
