M Series projectors’ ‘bright and vibrant’ performance

CHINA: The Dai Show Theatre, which features an acrobatic and aquatic show choreographed by former Cirque Du Soleil director, Franco Dragone, has installed a solution of eight Christie DS+14K-M projectors. The projectors were reportedly selected due to their high resolution and ability to produce ‘the bright and vibrant images needed for the show’.

The Christie M Series projectors were installed by A/V service provider, Wincomn Technology, above the performance area, projecting special effects onto the stage floor. ‘We deployed our most experienced teams to ensure that the high standards expected in terms of system design, stagecraft and artistic effects were perfectly executed,’ noted Wincomn Technology’s general manager, Tony Chen.

‘The Christie projectors deployed performed excellently throughout the installation and commissioning phase of the project,’ Mr Chen continued. ‘We complemented the DS+14K-Ms with projector yokes and the latest VYV tracking system. In the end, only eight projectors were required to make the show a success, instead of the 20 units originally planned for.’

‘Wincomn Technology has once again proved their capabilities, evidenced by the flawless projections during the performances,’ said Jason Pei, deputy general manager at Christie China. Lin Yu, vice president at Christie Asia Pacific added, ‘I would like to congratulate Tony Chen and his team for delivering yet another outstanding project, which has garnered numerous accolades from the theatre’s owners, Wanda Group and the A/V industry in China for a job well done.’
