SINGAPORE: With a portfolio of clients from the South East Asian broadcast sector that continues to grow, Megahertz Ltd has opted to stake a permanent presence in the region by opening an office in Singapore’s Park Avenue Clemenceau.
The systems integrator has employed a local team to staff its Singaporean office, providing services for every stage of a broadcast project. This includes projects for production, studios, advanced file-based workflows and even fully equipped OB and newsgathering vehicles.
‘Physically being in Singapore means that we can work even more closely with our South East Asian clients, reducing our response times to commercial and technical requirements and being able to offer our consultancy, design, vendor selection, installation, testing and support services at a local level, without delay,’ explained Megahertz managing director, Jon Flay. ‘We’ve recently won business for a significant project with a major broadcaster in the region. Opening up a local office not only broadens our opportunities for new business in the area, but also demonstrates how committed we are to providing the very best in local support services to our existing customers.’
