MG Electronics works out with Mackie and Dynatech

INDIA: Local solutions provider MG Electronics was recently enlisted to outfit the gymnasium at Just Fitness Club in Ulhasnagar with a new a sound system capable of reinforcing the wide variety of music the venue uses to support its workout regimes. With the management seeking a solution that was ‘hassle-free’ for everyday operation, MG Electronics opted to install Mackie and Dynatech equipment supplied through Mumbai-based distributor, Sonotone.
‘One of the managing partners of the gym contacted us and mentioned that they needed a system that was not only aesthetically appealing and easy to maintain, but also high on performance in terms of accurately reproducing the wide range of music they played, with maximum impact,’ offered Mrigraj Motwani of MG Electronics. ‘We knew that the combination of the Mackie SRM450 and the Dynatech Sub18D would definitely deliver the kind of supreme sonic experience that the management desired, while maintaining high standards of usability and durability, which is why we decided to go ahead with it.'
The team installed four Mackie SRM450 active loudspeakers in tandem with two Dynatech Sub18D 18-inch subwoofers, strategically placed to maximise coverage. Music playback is via a DynaDJ UBS2.
